Unit price €11,60 per 100mlI'm even more unusual than my base, "The Fig," because I belong to the XW series. The XW stands for Extra Wood. After the first filtration, I was aged in an acacia wood barrel (new, of course) and am the sister of the Fig from the Cherry Wood Barrel. New barrels – because the flavor characteristics of the wood should clearly come through. Basically, my acidity becomes milder and rounder with aging, and the acacia wood gives me a strong character. The woody note is clearly evident, and you could describe me as slightly spicy (compared to my sister, the Fig from the Cherry Wood Barrel).
I am double filtered and only bottled after another rest period.
You can enjoy me neat in a glass, on the rocks, as a spritzer, with salad, cheese and much more.
